SERVICES OFFERED

  • DAYCARE - FULL DAY

    I provide 6 - 8 hours* of daily intermittent care and attention per day.

    You can book consecutive days of Full Day Daycare if you will be gone for 24 hours or longer. I do not sleep over in your home with this service.

    You can also book an individual Daycare service if, for example, you will be leaving early morning and coming home late night that same day.

    *Check-in times will vary and are subject to availability. Specific times may be requested upon booking.  If your dog requires more than the allotted care time for each day additional fees may be added (refer to Extensive Care needs).

  • DAYCARE - PARTIAL DAY

    The Partial Day Daycare service offers the same care as a Full Day of Daycare, but at a reduced rate with less time spent in your home. I provide 3 - 4 hours* of daily intermittent care and attention per day.

    Partial Day service is best for low maintenance, independent dogs that do well with more time alone but still require a little more care an attention than a Drop-In service.

    *Check-in times will vary and are subject to availability. Specific times may be requested upon booking.  If your dog requires more than the allotted care time for each day additional fees may be added (refer to Extensive Care needs).

  • SleepOver

    Any job including 1 night or more of care + I sleep over at your home every night

    I sleep overnight in your home for a minimum of 6 hours* each night in addition to providing 6 - 8 hours* of daily intermittent care and attention per day.

    Sleepovers are great for elderly dogs, dogs with health concerns, dogs with general anxiety or separation anxiety, or dogs that just simply do not do well alone. This service is ideal if you want a lot of quality time spent with your pup.

    *Check-in times will vary. Specific times may be requested upon booking and are subject to availability.  If your dog requires more than the allotted care time for each day additional fees may be added (refer to Extensive Care needs).

  • SLEEPOVER - PARTIAL DAY

    Any job including 1 night or more of care + I sleep over at your home every night - less time spent during the day

    The Partial Day Sleepover service offers the same care as a regular Sleepover, but at a reduced rate and with less time spent in your home during the day. I sleep overnight in your home for a minimum of 6 hours* each night and I provide 3 - 4 hours* of daily intermittent care and attention per day.

    Partial Day Sleepovers are best for dogs that are a bit more independent and require a little less care through out the day but still need an overnight companion.

    *Check-in times will vary. Specific times may be requested upon booking and are subject to availability.  If your dog requires more than the allotted care time for each day additional fees may be added.

  • Drop-Ins

    30 minutes or 60 minutes

    Drop-ins include what you need it to! You choose the time allotment: 30 minutes or 60 minutes. What can be provided for a drop-in: food and water refresh, play time, medication, etc.

    * Drop-ins provide more care and attention compared to a walk request. If you want a little more time spent on your pup, this is the best option. A drop-in can include a 10-15 minute walk, but this service add-on is only available for 60 minute Drop-ins. Walks are not available for 30 minute Drop-ins.

  • Walks

    30 minutes or 45 minutes

    This service is exactly what it says! I will come to your home at the agreed upon time, leash up your pup, and walk him or her for the allotted time. After the walk I lock up and leave!

MEET & GREETS

Meet & Greets (M&G) are a REQUIRED aspect of every booking at LUKAS K9

Meet & Greets are a REQUIRED part of the booking process with LUKAS K9 for all NEW clients and any repeat clients that have not booked within a 4 month period*. This is to ensure that your dogs are comfortable and have a chance to meet Ben prior to his arrival on the job day. Ideally M&G’s take place in the home so Ben can familiarize himself in the space where he will be spending time with your pup(s). The M&G is free of charge (consider this included in the booking cost, although you are not required to book with LUKAS K9 after a M&G.)

If there is no time available prior to your booking request for a Meet & Greet, the job will not be booked*.

LAST MINUTE APPOINTMENTS (those booked 72 hours or less prior to the requested job time) may be available, HOWEVER, a M&G is still required.

*Exceptions can be made for repeat clients on a case by case basis.

EXTENSIVE CARE NEEDS

If you have specific needs or requests for your pup (longer stay times at your home, exercise needs, dietary restrictions, specific care requests, etc.) please inform LUKAS K9 before or at the time of booking. Depending on your requests, it may be considered Extensive Care and additional fees may apply. If you have an Extensive Care request, it is recommended that you book as early as possible.

EXTENDED CARE REQUESTS

Extended Care Requests are last minute requests for services beyond what has already been booked/reserved, and paid for. Extended Care Requests are not guaranteed and base on availability. If your needs can be met, additional fees will apply. Please reference the pricing page for costs per service.

I am happy to provide the following complimentary services in addition to pet care:

  • Daily Mail Collection

  • Watering Plants (unless excessive)
